DESCRIPTION: * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Northwestern Connecticut and western Massachusetts. * WHEN...Through Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Creeks and streams are already running high and may rise out of their banks due to the incoming heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Periods of moderate to heavy rain along with some embedded thunderstorms are expected to track into western New England late this afternoon into this evening before a cold front sweeps through the region tonight. A total of 1 to 2 inches of rain is likely through Tuesday morning which can lead to rises on area rivers and streams and result in urban and poor drainage flooding, especially during heavy downpours. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

The final form taken by a growing cumulus cloud is the
cumulonimbus cloud, which is very tall and dense.
The tower of a cumulonimbus cloud can soar 23 km into the atmosphere, although
most commonly they stop growing at an altitude of 6 km.
Even small cumulonimbus clouds appear very large in comparison to other cloud types.
They can signal the approach of stormy weather, such as thunderstorms or blizzards.

Drizzle is precipitation in the form of water droplets which are
